Get ready to check out our latest project, where we took a dated lakeside home at Lake Wylie and transformed it into a light and bright oasis that’s all about fresh vibes, family fun, and a modern take on a lakeside aesthetic! Let’s cruise through this fabulous makeover and see how we turned “meh” into “Oh my gosh!”

Kitchen Flow: Where Function Meets Fabulous
First up: the kitchen! We worked our magic to revamp the flow, adding extra storage cabinets and creating a sleek appliance “garage.” Imagine this: no more tripping over the coffee maker in the morning! We made it easy-peasy to grab your brew and kickstart your day, even if you’re still half asleep.
And guess what? We brought the cabinetry all the way up to the ceiling! That’s right—no more awkward dusting on top of cabinets! Plus, those glass-front beauties? Total game-changers! They reflect the Carolina sunshine and let natural light dance around the room like it’s summer all year long.

Pantry Perfection: Snack Attack Central
Next, we took a good look at the walk-in pantry and gave it a total re-do! Out went the sad, old wired shelves, and in came our custom storage solutions that would make any organization guru swoon. Now, grabbing snacks and essentials is as easy as pie (or should we say, cake?).
Oh, and here’s the kicker: we tucked away the countertop microwave in the pantry! It’s like hiding a secret treasure—you’d never expect it, but when you need it, it’s right there! Talk about a rad way to keep the kitchen looking chic and tidy!
And don’t forget about those custom sliding barn doors we created just for this new pantry and hidden laundry room! A quick coat of paint and some fresh hardware kept these spaces looking fresh and cohesive, blending seamlessly into the overall design.

Breakfast Nook Bliss: Views That Wow
Now, let’s shimmy over to the breakfast nook—the crown jewel that overlooks the lake. This spot isn’t just a pretty face; it’s where the magic happens (a.k.a. brunching with mimosas!). We dressed it up with soft performance velvety dining chairs that scream comfort, paired with the bubble glass light fixture that sparkles brighter than a Taylor Swift dress! It’s the jewel of the project! We are super happy with how our clients trusted in the design presented! We were able to really put in some gorgeous lighting fixtures.
Looking out the windows got a whole lot easier because we removed the window blinds and replaced them with…. a view! No, but really we added in some much needed warmth and texture with new bamboo roman shades to the east facing window which will help with shading out the hot morning sun while sitting in the breakfast nook working on a laptop.

Fireplace Flair: Grass Cloth Goodness
But wait, there’s more! We brought the drama to the fireplace with modern grass cloth wallpaper. This selection adds balance and warmth with its natural texture and deep blues, creating a focal point as you turn the corner. Seriously, it’s so inviting that you might never want to leave!

A Lakeside Palette: Soothing and Chic
Inspired by the lake’s beauty, we opted for a serene color palette of soft neutrals, deep blues, and fresh greens. These hues create a calming atmosphere that’s as refreshing as a splash in the lake! We kept the cabinets and walls the same color for a bright and calming effect. But here’s the trick—we chose a warmer white, because hey, it still gets cooler here in the winter! The warmer tones give you that fresh, clean look without the chilly blue undertones. It’s cozy, inviting, and totally lakeside chic.

We expanded the views by keeping the window treatments minimal, allowing natural light to flood in and remind you that Mother Nature is the ultimate designer. The reflections from the glass accents create a vibe that’s fresh, airy, and irresistibly inviting. Classic, yet on trend!
