In reality, the design should come first.
Your contractor’s job is to build. My job is to make sure what they’re building is functional, cohesive, and tailored to the way your family actually lives.
Before anyone starts demolition, I’m already thinking about:
How you move through the space every day
Where you’ll naturally prep meals
Storage you’ll actually use
Lighting throughout the day

That planning phase is one of the most important parts of the entire project.
The more prepared we are before construction starts, the smoother everything goes once work begins.
I’d rather spend extra time planning than have you spend extra money fixing avoidable mistakes.

I always ask my clients one question.
“What isn’t working in your home?”
